OPEN PLAY

Open Play is when members and non-members play in random teams, and gives interested individuals an opportunity to participate in HVA without obligating them to an annual membership. Open Play takes place between league schedules for each division.

Guests new to HVA must attend an open play session during either a Recreational or Intermediate open play night so that skill level can be assessed by the HVA Sports Committee.   Guests are not permitted to attend an advanced open play night without having the proper rating (NAGVA, USAV, HVA) and approval from the HVA Sports Committee.  This is for the safety of all players. 

Fees for Open Play:

HVA Members - $5.00

Non HVA Members - $10.00

RECREATIONAL LEVEL  

Continues: August 6, 2010

Location:  Agnes Scott College

When:  Friday Nights - 7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Directions: (From Atlanta traveling North on I-85) Take Clairmont Road exit. Turn right onto Clairmont Road heading East towards Decatur. Cross over Lavista Road, North Druid Hills, North Decatur Road and Scott Boulevard. Turn left onto Commerce Drive (McDonalds will be on your left), then turn right onto Church Street. Cross over East Ponce de Leon Avenue. Turn left onto East Trinity Place. Proceed forward, crossing over the railroad tracks and East College Avenue (Agnes Scott College will be on your right). Turn right onto East Doughetry Street. The gym is located on the left. Parking is available on East Doughetry Street or in the parking lot to the right.

(If parking is unavailable, proceed forward to the stop sign. Turn left. The larger tennis parking lot is directly on the left.)

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL (Tuesday)

(B Level rated players able to play/learn 6-2 offense)
